The Gospel of Matthew records Jesus as teaching: “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.” (Matthew 5:9)
The Apostle Paul wrote: “God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.” (2 Cor 5:18-19)
