The Gospels contain many stories about Jesus healing people from all kinds of physical ailments – blindness, deafness and muteness, paralysis, and more.
In the book of Acts there is a dramatic story of a lame beggar who is healed by the apostles Peter and John.
Later in Acts, there is a story about the Apostle Paul laying his hands on and praying for a man who has dysentery and fever and he is healed.
