Our Savior: Jesus
If you read about Jesus in the Bible, you will read about him doing amazing things:
Healing people of all kinds of diseases,
Releasing people from spiritual and psychological torment,
Leading people into provision of food and money,
Bringing dead people back to life.
The gospel accounts of Jesus's life (Matthew, Mark, Luke & John) are full of these kind of stories!
Around two thousand years ago, people dropped everything to follow Jesus and step into the new life that he was leading them into. His followers experienced the amazing reality of God's love in their lives and that same love flowed through their lives as they did the kind of things that Jesus did (for examples - read here, and here).
Ever since then, people all over the world have been turning to Jesus, and experiencing God doing amazing things in their lives, too.
The kinds of stories you read about in the Bible are still happening today, and you will hear them on this site.
If you have not yet looked to Jesus to lead you into new life, gloriously transformed by God's love and power, you can - and these kinds of stories can be your stories, too!
If this is new to you, start by seeking God in prayer. Open up a Bible and read about Jesus for yourself. Find a community of Christians in your area that have the kind of relationship with God that you are looking for.
As you do, we believe you will experience the love and power of God in your life and you will begin to have your own "stories of our savior," too!
Your stories and your experiences of the love and power of God in your life might not look exactly the same as any of the stories you read on here, or in the Bible - but the reason we share these stories is that we believe sincerely and with all our hearts that God loves you and wants to touch your life in profound and amazing ways. We believe God wants to lead you into a life of joy and hope and to experience his love in your life in ways that you will find awesome and amazing.
