Throughout the bible are amazing stories of God leading, guiding, and directing people as a father leads his children or a shepherd leads his sheep. Stories like:
God leading Abraham on an adventure into an unknown land and blessing him abundantly as he said yes to trust and follow God.
God leading the Israelites out of Egypt and into the land he had promised them centuries before.
Jesus being led by the spirit into the wilderness to be tested.
In Acts, there is a story about Phillip being told by an Angel to go into the desert, where he meets an Ethiopian and shares about Jesus with him.
There is another story about Paul being led to Macedonia through a vision.
