By checking the above mentioned box I, being the person identified in the above form, being over the age of eighteen (18), hereby grant to Stories of our Savior the right to use the stories, name, voice, images, and sound recordings and any other materials submitted, as well as my likeness, and appearance, together with personally identifying information I may provide in connection with the story submission.
I further grant Stories of our Savior the right to edit my stories, images and other submissions in any manner, and to use and license others to use the same, or any portions, reproductions, derivatives, or versions thereof in any and all media, in any manner, for an unlimited number of times, in perpetuity, throughout the world, with or without charge or cost to third parties. I also assign to Stories of our Savior the right to use and license others to use my stories, images and submissions for promotion, publicity in any manner as determined by Stories of our Savior in its sole discretion. I hereby relinquish, assign and transfer to Stories of our Savior all right, title and interest that I have or may have and any copyright to my story, voice, image, likeness, appearance, and/or submission as uploaded through this site.
I understand that my assignment of all right, title and interest encompasses the exclusive rights of reproduction, distribution, and preparation of derivative works, as well as all renewals and extensions and complete release of moral rights under the copyright laws of the United States and the world.
Stories of our Savior may, without further approval on my part, exhibit, distribute, edit, reproduce, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and/or broadcast my story, voice, image or likeness in all media.
I agree that Stories of our Savior and its licensees may use my name, voice, photographic likeness and story submission in connection with the Stories of our Savior project.
Without further approval on my part, I release Stories of our Savior and its employees, directors, officers, agents, successors, licensees and assigns ("Released Parties") from all claims, demands, disputes, suits and causes of action, damages, obligations, and liabilities, including but not limited to defamation, invasion of privacy, misappropriation of publicity rights, obscenity and copyright infringement, which I now have, have ever had or may hereinafter have against the Released Parties relating in any way to the use and/or content of the story.
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stories of our Savior and its employees, directors, officers, agents, successors, licensees and assigns from and against all third party claims, including but not limited to claims for defamation, invasion of privacy, right of publicity, or copyright infringement, liabilities, damages and expenses and other such losses arising out of or resulting from or related to the use and/or content of the story submission.
This Release shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the state of Hawaii and any such action shall be brought in the courts of the State of Hawaii.
I understand and agree that Stories of our Savior relies on this release, and therefore understand and agree that it is permanent and irrevocable. I have read the above release, authorization and agreement prior to its acceptance and I am fully familiar with its contents. I am aware that this is a release of liability and rights agreement between myself and Stories of our Savior and agree to the terms on my own free will.
