Our Savior: Jesus
If you read about Jesus in the Bible, you will read about him doing amazing things:
Healing people of all kinds of diseases,
Releasing people from spiritual and psychological torment,
Leading people into provision of food and money,
Bringing dead people back to life.
The gospel accounts of Jesus's life (Matthew, Mark, Luke & John) are full of these kind of stories!
Jesus's ministry convicted people of sin and led them into a new kind of life. His followers experienced the amazing reality of God's love and power in their lives and that same love and power flowed through them as they did the kind of things that Jesus did (for examples - read here, and here).
Stories of our Savior exists on the basis of the belief that the kinds of stories you read about in the Bible have been happening ever since and are still happening today - and that anyone can turn to Jesus and experience the new life that he offers - a life of experiencing God's love and power and glory.
If you have not yet looked to Jesus to lead you out of sin and into a new life, gloriously transformed by God's love and power, we believe you can - and these kinds of stories can be your stories, too!
If this is new to you, perhaps start by seeking God in prayer. Open up a Bible and read about Jesus for yourself. Find a community of Christians in your area and spend time with them.
As you do, we believe you will experience the love and power of God in your life and you will begin to have your own "stories of our savior," too!
Your stories and your experiences of the love and power of God in your life might not look exactly the same as any of the stories you read on here, or in the Bible - but the reason we share these stories is that we believe that God loves you and wants to touch your life in profound and amazing ways. We believe God wants to lead you into a life of joy and hope and to experience his love in your life in ways that you will find awesome and amazing.
